An air conditioner that has stopped cooling is rarely broken in one obvious way. Weak cooling can be a choked filter, a dirty condenser coil, a failing capacitor, a blocked drain or genuine refrigerant loss, and each of those costs a very different amount to put right. Guessing at it — or topping up gas on a system that has a leak — wastes money and usually brings the same fault back within weeks.

Gas is charged by weight after a proper vacuum, never topped up over an unrepaired leak.

FAQ
AC Repair — Common Questions
How often should an AC be serviced?
Twice a year suits most homes here — a full service before summer and a clean before the unit is shut down for winter. Homes near main roads or construction sites collect dust faster and benefit from an extra filter clean mid-season.
My AC needs gas every few months. Is that normal?
No. A sealed system does not consume refrigerant. If gas is needed repeatedly there is a leak, and refilling without finding it simply pays for the same problem again. We leak-test first and tell you what is actually wrong.
Do you repair inverter air conditioners?
Yes, including inverter PCBs, sensors and compressors. Inverter units need diagnosis rather than part-swapping, since the board and the compressor can present very similar symptoms.
Can you install or relocate an AC?
Yes. Installation, uninstallation and relocation are all covered, including bracket fitting, copper piping, vacuuming and testing. Tell us the model and the distance between the indoor and outdoor positions when you book.
