My appliance is more than ten years old. Is it worth repairing?
Sometimes yes and sometimes no, and we will tell you which. A lot of Delhi homes run appliances well past a decade. If the repair cost approaches a meaningful share of replacement value, or if the manufacturer no longer supplies the part, we say so rather than taking the job and leaving you with the same problem next season.
Can old house wiring cause this fault?
It can, and in the older Delhi colonies it often does. Circuits in Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar and parts of Lajpat Nagar were laid for a far lighter load than a modern household draws. If the supply side is what damaged your appliance we will say so, because replacing the part without fixing the cause only buys a few months.
My microwave runs but does not heat. What has failed?
That specific symptom — the fan and turntable working, the light on, but no heat — points at the high-voltage circuit. It is usually the magnetron, the high-voltage diode or the capacitor. A failed door interlock switch produces the same result on some models. All four are testable, so there is no need to guess.
Is a sparking microwave dangerous?
Stop using it. Arcing inside the cavity usually means the mica waveguide cover has burnt through or the internal paint has chipped and exposed bare metal. Left running, it will damage the magnetron and can start a fire in the cavity. Both causes are inexpensive to fix if you catch them early.
What if the fault comes back after the repair?
Call us and we return. That is the point of the written warranty — if the same fault reappears within the warranty period, the return visit and the work are free. You do not pay a second inspection charge for our own repair.
