How soon can a technician visit?

Why does my baking brown unevenly?
Usually the convection fan is not circulating air properly, either because the motor has slowed or the rear baffle is obstructed. A partially failed ring element that heats on only part of its circumference produces the same pattern, and both are visible once the back panel is off.
Convection works but microwave does not. What failed?
The two use completely separate heating paths, so a working convection mode tells us the control board, the fan and the door interlocks are all fine. The fault is in the high-voltage microwave circuit — magnetron, transformer, diode or capacitor. That narrows the diagnosis considerably.
Can you repair a built-in microwave?
Yes. Built-in and over-the-range models need the cabinet housing opened out to get the unit free, which takes longer than a countertop repair, so we plan a wider slot for it. We refit it into the cabinetry properly afterwards, including ventilation clearance.
Can I get an estimate over the phone?
We can give you a range for common faults, and we will. What we will not do is commit to a firm figure sight-unseen, because the same symptom regularly has three different causes at three different prices. The diagnosis settles it properly.
