FAQ
What Delhi NCR customers usually ask
The burner lights then cuts out. What causes that?
The flame failure sensor is not confirming the flame, so the gas valve shuts as designed. Usually the sensor is sooted over or has drifted out of position; sometimes the valve itself has failed. Either way it is a safety device working correctly, and it should never be bypassed.
What does a yellow flame mean?
Incomplete combustion — the burner is not getting enough air, usually because the jets or the air intake are blocked. A yellow flame produces soot and carbon monoxide, so it is genuinely urgent. Cleaning the burner and correcting the air supply resolves it.
Does a gas geyser need ventilation?
Absolutely, and it is the most important thing about the installation. A gas geyser consumes room air and produces combustion gases, so it needs a permanent air opening and a proper flue. We check both on every visit. If the installation is unsafe, we will say so before doing anything else.
Is a gas geyser cheaper to run than an electric one?
On piped gas, meaningfully so — the running cost of heating the same volume of water is generally well below an electric storage unit. On cylinder supply the gap narrows. Against that, a gas unit needs annual servicing and a safe ventilated location, which not every bathroom can offer.
How long does a geyser repair take?
Element or thermostat replacement is normally 45 to 60 minutes. Add another 30 to 45 minutes if the tank needs descaling, which on hard-water supply it usually does. Refilling and purging the air out afterwards is part of that time and should not be rushed.
