Overview

What actually goes wrong with convection microwave in Delhi NCR

A convection microwave is three appliances in one cabinet — a microwave, a grill and a fan-driven oven — and each has its own heating path, its own thermostat and its own failure modes. That is why a convection model can bake perfectly well while refusing to microwave, or heat food but never brown it. Diagnosis means identifying which of the three has failed.

We repair convection microwaves across Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi and Faridabad. What fails first genuinely differs by city — water hardness, supply voltage, dust load and the age of the housing all push the fault pattern in different directions — so the city pages below carry that local detail rather than repeating a single national answer.

What you get is a technician who tests rather than assumes, a price agreed before the work, and a straight answer if the honest recommendation is not to spend the money at all.

What We Do

What we diagnose and repair

Each of these is diagnosed on site before anything is quoted.

Convection Heater & Fan

Ring heating elements, convection fan motors and the thermostats that protect them during a long bake.

Magnetron & HV Circuit

Microwave function faults — magnetron, high-voltage transformer, diode and capacitor, tested rather than assumed.

Auto-Cook & Control Board

Auto-cook menus, programme logic, membrane keypads and displays on multi-function control boards.

Thermostats & Sensors

Cavity thermostats, thermal cut-outs and temperature sensors that stop the oven reaching or holding a set temperature.

Symptoms

When a convection microwave fault stops being minor

A convection microwave rarely fails without warning. These are the signs that come first.

Process

What to expect on the day

You know the price before stage four.

01

Book a slot

Tell us the brand, the type and the symptom. Built-in units may need cabinet removal, which we plan for in advance.

02

Discharge and diagnose

The high-voltage capacitor is discharged first. Interlocks, magnetron circuit, control board and elements are then tested in sequence.

03

Price confirmed first

You get the fault and the price first, including whether a magnetron replacement is worth it on your model.

04

Repair carried out

Most repairs are completed at your home. Only cavity or extensive board work needs the workshop.

05

Leakage tested and handed over

A leakage test and earth check follow every repair, the oven is heat-tested, and the warranty handed over.

Why NTS

Why Delhi NCR households call us back

One visit wherever possible

The technician loads the likely parts before setting out, based on what you describe at booking. Most jobs finish without a second trip.

The price before the work

You are told what has failed and what it costs before anything is opened up. Nothing is dismantled on the assumption you will pay for whatever is found.

A warranty you can hold

A written warranty on the workmanship, plus the manufacturer warranty on any part fitted. Same fault inside that period, we return at no charge.

Genuine parts, old one handed back

Original or OEM-grade components only, and the part that came out goes to you. A small thing that settles a lot of doubt.

FAQ

Before you book — the usual questions

The two use completely separate heating paths, so a working convection mode tells us the control board, the fan and the door interlocks are all fine. The fault is in the high-voltage microwave circuit — magnetron, transformer, diode or capacitor. That narrows the diagnosis considerably.

Either the convection heating element has partially failed, the cavity thermostat is reading incorrectly, or the convection fan has slowed and is no longer distributing heat. A door seal that no longer closes properly will also do it by letting heat escape throughout the bake.

Generally yes. Convection models cost considerably more than solo ovens, and most convection-side faults — heating element, fan motor, thermostat, keypad — are moderate repairs. Only a magnetron failure on an older unit needs a careful look at the numbers.

Usually the convection fan is not circulating air properly, either because the motor has slowed or the rear baffle is obstructed. A partially failed ring element that heats on only part of its circumference produces the same pattern, and both are visible once the back panel is off.

That specific symptom — the fan and turntable working, the light on, but no heat — points at the high-voltage circuit. It is usually the magnetron, the high-voltage diode or the capacitor. A failed door interlock switch produces the same result on some models. All four are testable, so there is no need to guess.
