Is the fault worth repairing on an older appliance?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If the repair cost approaches a meaningful share of what a replacement would cost, or the manufacturer no longer supplies the part, we will tell you that during the diagnosis so you can decide with the facts in front of you.
Are you an authorised service centre?
No. We are an independent repair service and we are not affiliated with any manufacturer. We work on all major brands, which means our advice about whether a repair is worth doing is not tied to selling you a replacement.
Is it worth repairing an older LED TV?
Power supply boards, backlight strips, T-Con boards and main boards are all economic repairs on a set that is otherwise sound. A cracked or internally failed panel is not, and we will tell you that plainly. There is no point spending seventy per cent of a new TV to fix an old one.
Do you still repair plasma and LCD televisions?
Yes, though it depends on parts. Plasma and older CCFL-backlit LCD sets are no longer manufactured, so genuine boards can be hard to source. We check availability during diagnosis and tell you honestly whether the repair is possible before you commit to anything.
How do I know the price before booking?
