How soon can a technician visit?

My fridge is cooling but there is water underneath. Why?
The defrost drain channel at the back of the cabinet is blocked, so meltwater backs up instead of running into the tray above the compressor. It is a straightforward clean-out and not a sign of anything more serious.
How often should a single door fridge be defrosted?
Every three to four weeks, or as soon as the ice on the freezer plate is thicker than a centimetre. Ice is an insulator — the thicker it gets, the harder the compressor has to work for less cooling, and that is what shortens its life.
Is a noisy refrigerator a problem?
Gurgling and occasional ticking are normal — that is refrigerant moving and the thermostat switching. What is not normal is a loud rattle, a rising drone, or a knock from the compressor area. Those are worth looking at, because a compressor that has started to sound rough rarely gets better on its own.
Can I get an estimate over the phone?
