Why double door refrigerator faults behave differently in Gurgaon
A double door refrigerator is frost-free, and that changes the fault picture completely. Cold air is made in one place and blown where it is needed by a fan, through ducts, with a heater cycling on periodically to clear frost off the evaporator. When any part of that chain fails you get the symptom every double door owner recognises: a working freezer and a warm fridge.
A sealed refrigeration system does not consume refrigerant, so an appliance that needs repeated gas top-ups has a leak that needs finding rather than refilling.

My appliance is still under manufacturer warranty. Should I use you?
Possibly not, and we will tell you honestly. On several brands an independent repair ends the remaining factory warranty. If your unit is still covered we will say so and point you to the brand service centre instead.
How long should a double door refrigerator last?
Ten to fifteen years with reasonable care. Defrost components, fans, sensors and boards are all economic repairs across that whole span. The point at which replacement becomes the better answer is a sealed-system failure — a leaking evaporator or a dead compressor — on a unit already past ten.
Why is my freezer cold but the fridge warm?
It is a frost-free machine, so the fridge is cooled by air blown from the freezer evaporator. If the defrost system fails, ice builds over that evaporator and blocks the airflow — the freezer stays cold because it is next to the ice, and the fridge gets nothing. A seized evaporator fan produces the same symptom.
How often does a refrigerator need gas refilling?
It does not, in normal use. A sealed refrigeration system should never lose gas. If yours is low, there is a leak, and topping it up without finding that leak simply means you pay again in a few months. We trace and repair the leak first, then vacuum and charge by weight.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, UPI and card are all accepted on completion, and you get a proper invoice with the warranty terms on it. Payment is taken after the repair is finished and tested with you, never before.
