How is the price for Refrigerator Repair decided?
The cost is explained to you once the fault has been diagnosed, and nothing is replaced and no charge is added without your approval. If a repair is not worth doing on an older appliance, we will say so rather than take the job.
Do you carry spare parts to the visit?
Technicians carry commonly needed parts for the brands we work on, so many jobs finish in a single visit. Where a part has to be sourced, we tell you that during the diagnosis and confirm the return visit with you.
How often does a refrigerator need gas refilling?
It does not, in normal use. A sealed refrigeration system should never lose gas. If yours is low, there is a leak, and topping it up without finding that leak simply means you pay again in a few months. We trace and repair the leak first, then vacuum and charge by weight.
My compressor hums then stops after a few seconds. Is it dead?
Not necessarily, and it is worth checking before you replace anything. That symptom is far more often a failed start relay or overload protector than a failed compressor — both are inexpensive parts. It can also be low supply voltage. A genuine compressor failure is the least likely of the three.
Do you handle appliances outside the brands listed?
Usually yes. The brand list covers what we see most often, not the limit of what we work on. The real constraint is spare part availability rather than the make itself, and we check that during the diagnosis.
