Why gas instant geyser faults behave differently in Delhi
Gas instant geysers are widespread across the older Delhi colonies, and the unventilated bathroom installations we find there are the most dangerous appliance situations we encounter anywhere. A gas instant geyser fires a burner the moment a tap is opened and heats water as it passes through, with no tank at all. It is compact, inexpensive to run and gives unlimited hot water — and it is also the single most safety-critical appliance we service, because an instant gas unit in an unventilated bathroom is a genuine carbon monoxide risk rather than a theoretical one.
Many faults that look mechanical are electrical in origin, which is why the diagnosis matters: replacing a part without addressing what damaged it only resets the clock.

My appliance is still under manufacturer warranty. Should I use you?
Possibly not, and we will tell you honestly. On several brands an independent repair ends the remaining factory warranty. If your unit is still covered we will say so and point you to the brand service centre instead.
How often should a gas instant geyser be serviced?
Once a year without fail, and more often if you notice any yellow in the flame. The service covers burner cleaning, jet clearing, flame sensor checking, gas hose and regulator inspection and a full ventilation assessment. On a gas appliance that schedule is a safety measure, not maintenance.
Is a gas instant geyser safe in a bathroom?
Only with proper permanent ventilation, and often it is not. These units consume room air and produce carbon monoxide, and a sealed bathroom gives that nowhere to go. It is the single most dangerous installation we come across. We will assess your specific installation and tell you plainly if it needs to move.
Why has my geyser stopped heating properly?
Usually one of three things: a burnt-out heating element, a failed thermostat, or scale coating the element so thickly that it can no longer transfer heat into the water. On hard water supply the third is the most common by a wide margin, and descaling fixes it.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, UPI and card are all accepted on completion, and you get a proper invoice with the warranty terms on it. Payment is taken after the repair is finished and tested with you, never before.
