FAQ
What Delhi NCR customers usually ask
What does the error code on my machine actually mean?
It identifies which sensor reported a problem, not which part failed — those are different things. A drain error, for example, can be a blocked filter, a failed pump or a pressure switch that never registers the tub emptying. We read the stored code and then test the circuit it points at.
The machine will not fill with water. Where do we start?
Tap and inlet filter first, since a partially blocked inlet mesh is the most common cause and costs nothing to clear. After that it is the inlet solenoid valve or the pressure switch. Low mains pressure will also trigger a fill timeout on a machine that is otherwise perfectly healthy.
Is a control board replacement worth the money?
It depends on the machine. On a mid-range or premium front load machine a board replacement is usually worth it. On an entry-level top load machine the board can be a substantial share of the replacement price, and we will give you both numbers before you decide.
Why will my door not unlock after the wash?
Most machines hold the door shut until the drum has stopped and the water level reads empty. So a door that stays locked is often really a drainage fault. If drainage is fine, the door lock solenoid itself has failed — an inexpensive and quick replacement.
Is it worth repairing an eight-year-old washing machine?
Usually yes if the fault is a pump, valve, belt, door lock or control board — economic repairs on a machine that otherwise works. Bearings near the end of a machine life are a closer call, and we give you the cost against the honest remaining life.
