Overview
The one appliance where neglect has a health cost
An RO purifier does not fail loudly. The filters simply stop removing what they were fitted to remove, while the water keeps flowing and tasting much the same. That is why RO servicing is scheduled by time and usage rather than by symptoms, and why the useful number is not your output TDS on its own but how far it has drifted towards your input TDS since the last service.
Filter replacement is an area with a lot of poor practice, so we do two things as standard: we hand you the cartridges we removed, and we show you the TDS reading before and after on a meter. If a technician will not do both of those, for us or for anyone else, that is worth questioning.

RO Service — Common Questions
How often should filters be changed?
Sediment and carbon pre-filters typically need changing every few months, the UV lamp annually, and the membrane every couple of years — but genuine intervals depend on your input water and how much you use. We check the readings rather than assume.
What TDS should my drinking water be?
Purified output normally sits comfortably below the input reading while retaining some minerals. What matters more than the absolute figure is the gap between input and output: if that gap has narrowed since the last service, the membrane is on its way out.
Do you service all brands of purifier?
Yes, RO, UV and UF systems from all the major brands, wall-mounted and under-sink, along with unbranded assembled units.
Will you show me the old cartridges?
Always. You get the removed cartridges and the TDS reading before and after the service, so you can see exactly what was changed and what difference it made.
